Buckeye Ceramic Supply is a full-service distributor of ceramic equipment, materials and supplies. They also have a fully-equipped 1,200 ft. studio in which you can create and glaze. Their Mud Room Studio is also home for monthly events and workshops. Their staff features several ceramic artists who are well-versed in clay and glazing activity. They teach, consult, and provide excellent technical support on all the products they offer.

Anthony Thomas Chocolates

Walk Along their comfortable, glass-enclosed suspended “Cat-Walk” and observe nine lines producing 30,000 pounds of chocolates per shift. Their experienced tour guides explain each process step-by-step from their kitchens to the final packaging. View interesting sights such as the huge copper kettles where the centers of some of the candies are created and their unique silver-wrapped pipes that carry liquid chocolate throughout the factory. The tour finishes in their beautiful 2,500 square-foot retail shop. Open House Tours are open to the public and appointments are not necessary. September-May, Tues & Thurs, 9am to 3pm. Early Television Museum

The Early Television Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the technology from the early days of television. The Museum has preserved and made available to the public the history of early television, from the mechanical systems of the 1920s through the introduction of color television in the 1950s.

Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center

The Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center is home to the Hilliard Arts Council a non-profit organization that exists to enhance the cultural and economic vitality of Hilliard by inspiring, enlivening and educating locals and visitors alike through the arts. The Hilliard Arts Council produces community theatrical productions throughout the year including a larger musical in the summer, providing entertainment for the annual July 4th activities, and an annual Summer Concert Series – free to the community. Additionally, they sponsor the Greater Columbus Community Orchestra, which provides several concerts throughout the year and recently they started the new Hilliard Community Chorus, the Hilliard Youth Choir and the annual Short Film Festival. The Arts Council supports the Old Hilliardfest, provides art scholarships to local high school students and seeks to support and nurture local art and artists, be they painters, sculptors, actors, musicians and more.

First Responders Park
Center and Main Streets
The First Responders Park was the vision of Mayor Don Schonhardt, who wanted to develop a special place within the City of Hilliard to remember the events of September 11, 2001. From this vision rose a park in the center of Old Hilliard memorializing those who died on 9/11 and pays tribute to the 403 First Responders that died making the ultimate sacrifice for their community. One of the largest in the country, this memorial features granite walls inscribed with the names of those who lost their lives, a reflecting pool, personalized pavers, a monument honoring fallen officers, and a metal sculpture made from the steel of the World Trade Center. In 2014 Hilliard dispatched a delegation to retrieve the steel and bring it to Hilliard.

Heritage Rails to Trails (Heritage Trail)
The Heritage Trail is a 7-mile multi-purpose trail converted from abandoned right-of-way located in Franklin and Madison Counties in Central Ohio. Homestead Metro Park

This 44-acre park offers a quiet, country atmosphere with a covered bridge, train station replica and two barns. Other features include shelters, a 2.5-acre fishing pond (no fishing license required), bird watching, play equipment, and courts for sand volleyball and basketball. A three-quarter mile paved trail, great for hiking, biking, running, or walking your leashed pet, winds through the park and connects to the Heritage Rail Trail. The park entrance is located on Cosgray Road between Scioto Darby Road and Davidson Road.
